The Aquabats Reissues

Playdough Purple Vinyl

Originally released in 1996, "The Return of the Aquabats" marks the official debut of The Aquabats!, establishing their unique musical style, signature look, and chaotic attitude. A ska-centric explosion, the album also takes its cues from the Orange County surf, new wave, and punk scenes that shaped the identities of the band’s members. Nostalgia, science fiction, and a heavy dose of sarcasm set the tone for the future of the world’s greatest group of punk rock superheroes!

Fiesta Red Vinyl

1997 saw the release of The Aquabats'! second studio album, “The Fury of The Aquabats!," an ultimately legendary addition to their catalog. Featuring the debut of longtime member Jimmy the Robot (James Briggs) on woodwinds and The Baron von Tito (Travis Barker) on drums, the lineup produced an eclectic ska classic - most notably the mega-single “Super Rad!” A fan favorite over the past 25 years, it’s hard not to find unbridled joy in tracks like, “Red Sweater!,” “Magic Chicken!,” “Martian Girl!,” “My Skateboard!” and many more!

Floating Eye Fleshy Pink Vinyl

In 1999, The Aquabats! enter experimental territory with the release of "The Aquabats! vs. the Floating Eye of Death!" Expanding beyond their ska roots, the band flexes their imaginative songwriting muscles both in subject matter and style. A retroactive favorite with fans, The Aquabats! push into a more electronic sound that presages their future records and graces us with the likes of “Sequence Erase,” “Giant Robot-Birdhead,” and “Chemical Bomb.” Right at the turn of the century, The Aquabats! stared down the Floating Eye of Death… and won!
